Victoria's Secret Debuts Snowflake Costume Made From 3D Printer!

The annual Victoria's Secret show is taping tomorrow, and while we can't reveal the talent, we did get a sneak peek at the costumes!

Each year Victoria's Secret partners with Swarovski to create jaw dropping costumes, and this year they've taken it a step further. Inspired by snowflakes, designers at Victoria's Secret partnered with Shapeways, a 3D printing company, to actually print (yes, you read that right), a stunning, incredibly life like snowflake corset and 'wings.' While you may not have heard of 3D printing, it's actually a process that's been around for over 20 years! "3D Printing works by taking digital files and turns them into physical products. It is often referred to as additive manufacturing, as the product is built up layer by layer in the material of your choosing," said Duann Scott from Shapeways.

Covered in thousands of tiny Swarovski micro-crystals, the piece looks exactly like a fallen snowflake, and we got an up close look (and chance to chat!), with the Angel who gets to wear it, Lindsay Ellingson. "It's such an amazing opportunity to wear this piece, " Ellingson told us. "It all started during the summer when the Shapeways team took an MRI scan of my body so that the costume would be perfectly fitted to me. Now I'm finally getting to try it on, and I can't wait to wear it in the show! It's incredibly light, and I love how all the Swarovski crystals sparkle when they catch the light!"
