Whole Foods may have an awesome selection of organic and healthy foods, but it's also super expensive. That's why last year, the chain announced they were opening up a chain of less expensive stores called 365 by Whole Foods in order to introduce the store to a wider, younger audience. Now, more information is coming out about the 365 chain and you'll never believe one service they're considering offering to woo you down their aisles: tattoo parlors!
Basically, 365 by Whole Foods is offering small businesses the opportunity to partner and set up shop in their stores to enhance the 365 experience. They're calling the program Friends of 365.
"Friends of 365 may be any type of business — from food and drinks to fashion, body care products, services, and more," reads the 365 website. Then they go on to suggest some businesses that might be interested in setting up shop at 365, like a tattoo parlor or record store.
Their only requirement for businesses is that they be "hip and cool" and that they offer products and services that align with 365 by Whole Foods' values and quality standards.
We're guessing that means the tattoo ink should be organic, or something. The real question is: Would you ever get a tattoo at a Whole Foods? Or any supermarket, really?
