You didn't even know you knew the lyrics. But one glance at Christina Aguilera is enough to cue a playlist of her hits, from "Beautiful" to "Show Me How You Burlesque," that will stay lodged in your brain all day. It's that singular sensation — to see her is to hear her — that guided the MC fashion team as they crafted looks for the lone female cohost of The Voice. On the set of our L.A. photoshoot, peekaboo cabaret-inspired pieces and platform heels played to the songstress's vamp persona and vocals. Aguilera, whose weight is often buzzed about, was more than comfortable in her skintight ensembles, pausing between shots to text self-portraits to boyfriend Matt Rutler. The confidence is something to be admired — words can't bring her down.
