    Spot-On

At 9 a.m., straight from the Chateau Marmont, Keira Knightley swung by Siren Studios in Los Angeles wearing a uniform of effortless elegance: J Brand jeans, a gray Margaret Howell sweat, and fuzzy Folk booties, a suede Burberry bowling bag slung over her shoulder. As she perused the racks of Gucci and Chanel, Knightley cracked jokes with the fashion team before putting on her game face. In front of the camera, she played up her razor-sharp cheekbones, her gaze shifting to the beat of the Talking Heads. Eight hours, endless cups of tea, and one beet salad later, she had just minutes to spare to make a flight from LAX. Flashing her magnetic smile, she thanked the crew and went wheels up across the pond, a first-class star to the end. —Ashley Ross
