5 Green Juice Recipes to Detox

Have you recently been indulging in a few-more-than-usual boozy cocktails and sugar-laden sweets? While there's nothing wrong with a couple of cookies or a favorite drink every once in a while, why not balance those treats with nourishing, wholesome foods that keep your spirits lifted and pants from feeling snug? Get back on track with these five energizing (and surprisingly tasty) green juices.

1) Kiwi Juice (Courtesy of Green Kitchen Stories)


8 kiwi fruits

3 green apples

1/2 cucumber

2 inches of fresh ginger

1 handful fresh mint leaves

4 ice cubes, for serving


Place all ingredients through a juicer. Serve immediately with lots of ice.

2) Sweet Green Veggie Juice (Courtesy of Pressed Juicery)


3 kale leaves, stems removed

4 romaine lettuce leaves

Small handful of spinach leaves

1/2 lemon

2 Fuji apples


Combine all ingredients in juicer and enjoy!

Take it up a notch: add one peeled beet for a sweet, nutritious boost.

1 cup kale

1 cup spinach

1/2 cup pineapple

2 medium green apples

1 sprig mint


Combine all ingredients in a juicer. Enjoy immediately.

1/2 cup spinach

1 large cucumber

1 Granny Smith apple

2 stalks celery

3 sprigs parsley

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon fresh ginger


Combine all ingredients in juicer and enjoy.

1 lemon

2 apples

1-inch ginger root

6 celery stalks

1 cucumber

2 large handfuls spinach


Place all ingredients through a juicer. Immediately pour into a glass and enjoy.
