DAY THREE
Day Three. The green juices taste better believe it or not. Still no hunger pains or longing for food-well maybe sushi but it's getting easier. My prediction was DAy Three as the toughest so we'll see what the day brings. Blueprint Cleanse is a Brooklyn-based juice company that specializes in fruit- and vegetable-based detox programs, is revolutionizing the idea of juice cleanses through ease of use and organization. Incorporating convenient services such as home deliveries and utilizing 100% vegan, raw, mostly organic and completely unprocessed fruits and vegetables, they use a hydraulic press rather than your basic bladed juicer. This means seven tons of pressure extracting every drop of goodness the fruits and vegetables have to give, approximately three to five times the vitamins and minerals than juices from other machines.
I'm on Day Three and tomorrow morning I need to go and pick up my final two days worth of juices. They would have been delivered tonight but I will not be home to accept them. Blueprint offers a pickup service as well for just for these situations.
I will say after three all green juices I definitely was looking forward to my "lemonade" number four and "nutty delight" number six yesterday afternoon. They're the two best shakes by far.
As far as changes: I can feel a difference in my hair. It seems a bit limp starting about last night. My skin is also changing. It's hard to explain. Not a dryness or greasiness. It just feels different.
Other than that it's juices all around - three more days.
And nothing else to report. NOTHING.
If you're wondering just how does Blueprint work--here's a brief explaination.
"As the result of the pollutants in the air we breathe
and chemicals in the food and water we consume, the body accumulates
"toxins." Every once in while the body needs to rid itself of these
toxins. When the tissues release these materials, they enter into the
bloodstream which is the cause of all those "detox symptoms" we hear about:
headaches, body odor, skin eruptions, etc. Blueprint Cleanse is a NUTRITIONAL
Cleanse that is effective in helping the body detoxify itself and move through
this "low" or detox cycle faster and with fewer symptoms. Cleansing is
recommended for many illnesses, as it gives the body the rest it needs to
recover. Take away the work of digesting food and one allows the system to rid
itself of old toxins while facilitating healing.

Depending on the length of the Cleanse, it accomplishes
different things. A three-day Cleanse helps the body rid itself of old built up
matter and cleanses the blood. A five-day Cleanse starts the process of
rebuilding and healing the immune system. A ten-day Cleanse will take care of
problems before they arise and fight off degenerative diseases.
A "fast" is something different – our Cleanse is a
nutritional one. It's about nourishment, NOT deprivation. Our live juice
Cleanse both removes toxins and promotes healing simply by supplying the blood
with vitamins, minerals and enzymes that one is able to assimilate.
It took years to wear your body down, and it will take time
to build it back up to its prime condition. But it can be done. When you start
to feel unwell, Cleanse and feel better."
