Both are good sources of omega-3 fatty acids, thought to do everything from lower your risk of heart disease and arthritis to mitigate depression (they may even make skin and hair look better). Your best choice is whichever one you'll actually use. I'm betting that's the ground seeds — since the oil can't be heated, it's harder to fit into a day. Ground seeds are easy to sprinkle on cereal and yogurt (and can add 4 grams of fiber per serving).
