Taylor Swift's endless promotional tour for 1989 continues unabated, this time with an appearance on Canadian talk show eTalk. It seems that her famous cats Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey do not get along, so Taylor helpfully imitated the insane noises they make when they're fighting for host Danielle Graham (video above). She says the sounds they make are not "normal cat sounds," then proceeds to make a noise like an angry baby elephant, so she is either right in her assessment or really bad at making cat sounds.
She also shared a photo of Olivia and Meredith cuddling together in honor of National Cat Day. According to Taylor, this photo captures the one and only time the Swift Family Cats were caught playing nicely.

And in other Taylor news, she announced on Wednesday's episode of The View that she'll donate all proceeds from sales of the "Welcome to New York" single to New York City's public schools. Earlier this week, NYC's official tourism organization NYC & Company announced that Taylor would be the city's new "ambassador for tourism." Many people found this choice somewhat puzzling, but it's nice that she'll be giving back to the city that she has so recently come to love. You know, Taylor, if you're ever looking for other NYC institutions that could use your money, I hear the MTA is really hurting for cash, as well as trains that are not at all reliable. Just saying.
