Blake Lively is known for her glamorous red-carpet wardrobe (recently wearing designer ensembles seven in just one day), but the actress looked a world away from how we usually see her in images that surfaced over the weekend.
The 30-year-old actress was sporting baggy tracksuit trousers, a grubby-looking quilted jacket, and scuffed black trainers on the set of her latest film, The Rhythm Section, in Dublin on Sunday.
The star also wore special-effects makeup that created dark bags beneath her eyes, and donned a cropped dirty blonde wig to to play Stephanie Patrick, a bereaved woman hell-bent on revenge against the perpetrators who orchestrated a plane crash that killed her family in the mystery drama.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lively's distressed Stephanie 'is on a path of self-destruction after the death of her family in an airplane crash, a flight that she was meant to be on'.
"After discovering that the crash was not an accident, her anger awakens a new sense of purpose and she rises to uncover the truth by adopting the identity of an assassin to track down those responsible. The new, and lethal, Stephanie Patrick is on a mission to fill the void between what she knows and what she is told."
She stars opposite Jude Law in the thriller.
Meanwhile, Lively has been busy on the promotional trail for psychological drama All I See Is You, in which she stars as a young blind woman who suddenly regains her sight.
She's also currently filming crime drama by A Simple Favor alongside Anna Kendrick and Eric Johnson from Bridesmaids and Ghostbusters director Paul Feig.
