It's easy to forget that actress/director/writer Angelina Jolie was once an up-and-comer, honing her skill in acting class (opens in new tab) like every *other* young wannabe starlet on the block. But Daily Mail (opens in new tab) posted a reminder yesterday: a rare clip from one of Jolie's early acting sessions.
Jolie, then in her teens, does some intense scenes with a fellow student. Her lines are a bit creepy, the emotions are all over the place, and her face is achingly expressive. But you can see the talent. No wonder she won an Oscar for (opens in new tab)Girl Interrupted (opens in new tab) shortly thereafter.
