She says they were "horrible."

Britney Spears was made to be in her 30s.

A lot of her 20s might have seemed glamorous—traveling the world, dominating the pop charts—but, according to ET Online, Spears says she wasn't a fan of that decade in her life.

"I like my 30s way more than my 20s," she told Britain's ITV. "My 20s were horrible! [Being] in my teens was fun, but I like my 30s."

Of course, Spears' 20s also had a lot of downs—including two failed marriages (if you count her annulled, 55-hour marriage in 2004) and a series of events that led to her father gaining conservatorship over her assets.

Like many people, Spears feels like she finally found herself in her 30s.

"My 30s are great," she said. "You know who you really are."

She's also embracing her single lady status and independence (her last relationship, with Charlie Ebersol, ended in 2015). "It's okay to be single!" she said. "I'm in a really good place right now. I'm loving myself every day and learning who I am. It's awakening, it's cool."

Learning who you really are? Enjoying single life? Yep, Spears is doing her 30s exactly right.
