Emma Watson Is Leaving Secret Notes in Books on the London Subway

This is so Belle.

Back in January, Emma Watson started a feminist book club called Our Shared Shelf, with the goal of selecting a book every month by women about women and encouraging people to read and discuss them.

Well, November and December's book is Maya Angelou's autobiographical Mom and Me and Mom, and to get people reading, Watson has teamed up with Books On The Underground, a project that encourages people to read and share books on the London tube, aka the metro system.

Here she is sneaking one onto an escalator railing.

The mischievous actress hid 100 copies of the book all over the tube, along with little notes that she personally handwrote. Finding a great book on the metro is exciting enough, but imagine finding one with a little note from Emma Watson inside!

Wanna know what she wrote? Take a look:

The note reads:

You are the finder of Our Shared Shelf's bi monthly book choice. Each pick is made with careful love and attention—we hope you like it. Just one hundred copies were hidden on the tube by "Books in the Underground." Take special care of it and when you are finished please leave it on the tube again for someone else to find. If you enjoyed it or have thoughts—please let me know on goodreads.com/oursharedshelf. Love, Emma x (Watson) London

Belle would be so proud.
