Stranger Things (opens in new tab) season two doesn't premiere until October, but Netflix has gifted fans with the next best thing: a reminder of all the insane stuff that went down in the show's first season. Moving as far away as one can from the usual "Previously on…" formula, the recap is presented in a retro video game style that makes you wish Stranger Things The Video Game was actually available for purchase. Who wouldn't want to fuel up on Eggos and chocolate pudding? Who wouldn't want points for delivering sass? And who wouldn't want to change video game Barb's fate so she gets to go home instead of being absorbed into the Upside Down? The #JusticeforBarb feels are strong in the game/recap as well.
Watch all nine episodes of Stranger Things season two with the lights on and with a healthy serving of Eggos/chocolate pudding when the show returns to Netflix on Oct. 27.
