Wait Bachelor Peter Weber's Face Scar Is Actually So Intense

Damn.

Hello, and good morning. While you enjoy that piece of leftover pie, let's take a moment to discuss Bachelor Peter Weber's ~FACE SCAR~ because wait, wow, it's so much more intense than anticipated.

As a reminder, Peter suffered a “freak accident” while in Costa Rica filming The Bachelor in early October. Basically, dude was minding his own business on a golf course (as ya do) when he reportedly stepped onto a golf cart holding two cocktails. He then lost his balance, fell onto the glasses, and split his poor face open in what was described as a "freak accident." Us Weekly reported that Peter had to travel over two hours to reach the nearest hospital, where he got 22 face stitches and “underwent surgery.”

We got our first glimpse of Peter's injury in footage from the upcoming season of The Bachelor, where we can see him rocking a bandage on his forehead. The size of the bandage (so wee) makes it seem like Peter's injury is NBD, but he gave everyone a look at his scar on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and it's pretty intense!

FYI, this accident didn’t derail filming—The Bachelor’s host Chris Harrison told the Hollywood Reporter that Peter was back up and running, saying, “Peter suffered a freak accident. He got a cut on his head. He did get stitches, but he’s 100 percent okay and production is already back underway. He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of.”
