- Royal aides are reportedly stressed that a new biography about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could paint Prince William as "the bad guy."

A new biography is about to drop about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (it's called Finding Freedom in case you want to pre-order....), and it promises to debunk a ton of misconceptions and rumors about the royal couple—not to mention tell the true story of their life together. But apparently royal aides back in England are concerned that the book may paint Prince William as the "bad guy"—especially given the endless speculation about his "feud" with Prince Harry.
A source tells The Sun that aides fear William could be “painted as the bad guy," saying “They are worried William especially will be portrayed in a bad light. This sort of family spat shouldn’t be out there in public. This shouldn’t happen to future monarchs. The book could be the most damaging thing to the Royal Family since Prince Diana’s interview on Panorama with Martin Bashir."
The source continues that “The concern is it will somehow paint [William] as an unfeeling baddie against kind and philanthropic Harry and Meghan. The aides are privately worried about it. Unsympathetic, unfeeling and unsupportive are the words being used but of course no one knows exactly what’s in it.”
While the contents of the biography remain tightly wrapped up, it seems unlikely that the book will focus on tired Prince William drama when it's literally about Harry and Meghan. Just saying!
Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family is written by royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, and hits shelves August 11.
