Prince William Is Leaning on Kate Middleton During Prince Harry “Ordeal”
She’s his “pillar of strength.”

Things aren’t exactly great between Prince William and Prince Harry (opens in new tab) in the aftermath of the Sussexes’ interview with Oprah (opens in new tab)—and by that I mean they apparently don’t “trust” each other (opens in new tab) and haven’t had productive convos (opens in new tab).
William is reportedly pretty upset that Kate Middleton was brought up during the Sussexes’ interview (opens in new tab) (although Meghan Markle just clarified a rumor and otherwise said nice things! (opens in new tab)), and Us Weekly (opens in new tab) reports that Kate has been a pillar of “strength” for her husband.
“Kate is a natural leader who has a magnificent ability to remain composed, even during the most challenging situations,” one source says, while another adds, “Kate’s used to all eyes being on her. Being in a strong, solid marriage to William helps. They lean on each other for support during difficult times and will talk through their problems. She’s been her husband’s pillar of strength throughout this whole ordeal.”
It’s unclear what’s going on between William and Harry behind the scenes, but Gayle King recently revealed that the royals haven’t reached out to Meghan Markle (opens in new tab)—despite the fact that she opened up about her mental health struggles as well as the racism she faced while living with the royal family in England (opens in new tab).
“I did actually call them to see how they were feeling, and it’s true, Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father too,” Gayle said. “The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive. But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation. And I think what is still upsetting to them is the palace keeps saying they want to work it out privately, but yet they believe these false stories are coming out that are very disparaging against Meghan, still.”
