Buckingham Palace celebrated the Easter holiday this year with two new official pictures of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles. The photos were taken on the grounds of Frogmore House in Windsor, where the monarch and her son enjoyed a spring walk together on Friday.
The official royal family Twitter account shared the first of the photo, taken by photographer Chris Jackson, which shows the Queen and Prince Charles smiling and in great spirits during their quiet outing in Windsor. An old, stone bridge and a small pond can be seen in the background behind the royals in the picture.

Royal fans were directed to the Clarence House Twitter account to see the second, more posed photo, also taken by Jackson. The shot shared by Clarence House is similar to the one shared by the Royal Family Twitter, but offers a slightly different view of the gardens at Frogmore House in the background, including a large field of yellow daffodils and a, beautiful blossoming tree.

According to The Telegraph, Prince Charles also marked Easter weekend by recording a recitation of a poem to be played during a virtual Easter Sunday service at Stonyhurst College in Lancashire. The poem, by Gerard Manley Hopkins, begins, "The world is charged with the grandeur of God. It will flame out, like shining from shook foil; It gathers to a greatness, like the ooze of oil Crushed. Why do men then now not reck his rod?"
While the Queen traditionally walks to St George's Chapel with her family for Easter services, this year, she's expected to worship at a private service with those closest to her, according to Town & Country.
