As conflicting reports of his condition emerge, Lamar Odom's children and the Kardashians have released separate statements with one common message: gratitude for the public's support.
In a statement to CNN, Odom's daughter Destiny, 17, and 13-year-old son Lamar Jr. echoed the same sentiment Destiny expressed in a series of now-deleted tweets.
"Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad," they said. "We are here with our family and friends. We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers."
Khloé, Kim, Kendall, and Kylie posted identical notes on their websites Thursday evening.
"As a family, we've decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time."
While Odom remains in a medically induced coma, the owner of the Love Ranch, the legal brothel where Odom was found unconscious, has spoken to Entertainment Tonight, revealing that the 35-year-old athlete paid $75,000 for a four-day stay with two women who "knew [Odom] did cocaine and partied in Vegas before coming to the Ranch."
