Netflix's Gilmore Girls revival is poised to change our lives for the better in the not-too-distant future, and the question on everyone's minds is who will Rory end up with (opens in new tab)? The answer should obviously be "herself, because she doesn't need a man!" but please. We all know she's either going to end up with Logan, Jess, or Dean and his perpetually middle-parted, floppy hair. Hair that's been haunting the hallowed ground of Stars Hollow/our nightmares for years.

Anyway, Jared Padelecki dished on Dean's role in the revival, and fortunately he doesn't appear to be end game. "[Amy Sherman-Palladino] basically said, 'Listen, we're going to write you a really cool scene, and if you get a day off let us know—we will just put your scene on the schedule for that day,'" Jared recently explained. "She was like, 'It's a set that we already run and own, it's an actress that already is working every day, so let us know.'"

Hear that? Just one scene—and get this, it takes place in Dosee's Market. "So Dean has a cool scene in the market he used to work at," Jared continued. "It's a nice, a really nice scene that gave me closure."

Hopefully, said scene will also give us closure. Oh wait, we moved on from Dean the second Jess walked into Rory's life. #LOLBye #TeamJess #NoRegrets
