'SNL' Perfectly Captured Your Relationship with Leggings in This Fake Commercial
The "pro-chiller" leggings are here—for what you actually use leggings for.
If you have ever purchased a pair of fancy-schmancy, ultra-endurance workout leggings with big plans of becoming a marathon runner only to mostly wear said leggings while marathoning Netflix, Saturday Night Live knows your soul and is here to let you know that you are not alone.
In last night's episode, hosted by Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman with musical guest Cardi B (who confirmed her pregnancy during the show), the women of SNL teamed up for a digital short parodying the very serious advertising surrounding leggings. Because, let's be honest, most leggings spend 98 percent of their lives inside our apartments.
The fake commercial is for Nike Pro-Chiller Leggings, which are, according to the ad "designed for endurance, but used mostly for sitting on the couch." You know, like literally every pair of leggings most of us own.
