It feels like ages until Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life hits Netflix, but luckily we've got something to feed our rabid curiosity until the premiere of the first 90-minute episode on November 25. On Wednesday, Amy Sherman-Palladino shared the first page of the show's revival script withEntertainment Weekly, and it's just as wacky and overly verbose as we'd expect.
It's exciting because we can now picture the very beginning of the series, which I'm imagining goes something like this:
Even though it's just a glimpse at what's to come, the excerpt is quite revealing: Lorelai seems to still live in Stars Hollow (yay!), and she is still obsessed with coffee. Rory must be pretty successful, coming off of a long flight all casual and grown-up lady-like. Seven hours is a pretty specific time for a flight as well...around the number of hours it takes to get to London. And if that's the case does that have anything to do with Logan? Is she back with Logan? Most importantly, what does Lorelai have in the paper bag? A croissant? A danish? A bagel? Did she get it from Luke's? Is she still with Luke? So many questions.
