These Cool-Girl Sneaker Trends Are Hiding in Nordstrom’s Early Black Friday Sale
Discover shoes from beloved brands like Adidas, Puma, and more.
Although I love nothing more than a sophisticated heel, I’m also a certified sneakerhead. My capsule wardrobe is filled with a range of chic kicks from Adidas and Puma. So, when I found out that Nordstrom’s Early Black Friday sale includes my favorite brands (and more!), I flocked to the retailer’s site and immediately filled my shopping cart.
While perusing hundreds of discounted fashion items, I selected 15 styles that I plan to wear all season long. For dressy-ish days in the office, I’ll throw on suede sneakers that will pair nicely with my blazers, trousers, and collarless coats. Meanwhile, for more casual moments, I’ll slip on chunky trainers defined by a strong dadcore appeal. Styled with my cozy athleisure outfits, these shoes will work perfectly for errand runs and laid-back lunches.
The best part about Nordstrom’s on-sale sneakers is that many of them fall under $200, which is a great steal. If you’re looking to round out your footwear lineup—while also sticking to your budget—scroll on. You’ll not only find the most viral sneaker trends of the moment, but you’ll also spot classic designs that are inherently timeless.
Puma’s Speedcat OG sneakers have received celebrity endorsements from stylish A-listers like Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence, and Dua Lipa. So, given the fact that I’m easily influenced, I decided to try this style for myself—and I’m going with this delicious chocolate brown colorway.
Adidas’s fan-favorite Gazelle sneakers are trending alongside the brand’s iconic Sambas. While the Gazelles are usually $150, they’re currently on sale for $105. Needless to say, I’d recommend snagging them now, before they sell out.
Julia Marzovilla—Marie Claire’s fashion e-commerce editor and resident shoe expert—recently reported on the rise of suede sneakers. Test-drive the trend with this velvety pair from Steve Madden.
Ask me about my favorite color trend of the season, and I’ll speak highly of cherry red. There’s something about this sweet shade that feels oh-so rich.
This fall, It girls have been obsessing over slim sneakers. I’m sure this retro style will also make its way into winter, so I’m buying into the look with Vince’s Mojave shoes.
Nordstrom offers plenty of affordable sneakers, but the retailer also carries its fair share of designer alternatives. Take, for example, these sumptuous Tory Burch shoes.
While white shoes typically align with warm-weather wardrobes, you can also wear this versatile style during the colder months. Coordinate Veja’s Esplar sneakers with winter essentials like puffer jackets, cashmere cardigans, and knee-high boots.
I’m partial toward this navy blue hue, but Dolce Vita’s Serina Sneakers are also offered in mocha mousse, butter yellow, beige, strawberry red, and sky blue.
Silver sneakers are one of 2025’s top shoe trends, and they’re not going anywhere anytime soon.
Axel Arigato’s shoes are worth the investment—just ask celebrities like Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski who can’t stop wearing them.
