Try a Yoga Shoulder Stand

I've long observed that shoulder stands have an uncanny way of giving me a spurt of energy, but Scott Herig, NYC-based Pure Yoga's resident mountain-biker-turned-master-yogi, explains that, over time, even more benefits are to be had: They stimulate blood flow, balance hormone levels, and improve the lymphatic system. Here's an easy inversion that will help even non-yogis reap the benefits: Lie on your back facing a wall; adjust yourself so that your legs, lifted at 90 degrees with feet flexed, are pressed against the wall. Hold for 3 to 5 minutes.
