Dressed to Thrill: Lily Rabe in Prabal Gurung

At last night's Tony Awards, nominee Lily Rabe (up for Best Performance by a Leading Actress for her turn as Portia in The Merchant of Venice) stunned in a simple white gown by CFDA Award winner Prabal Gurung.

Long-sleeved frocks are clearly here to stay (no complaints here), and we love the geometric designs along the otherwise-sheer arms of this one. The daring slit and cutaway back show just the right amount of skin, and a pair of sparkling emerald earrings and bold red lips (courtesy of a "special recipe" by her makeup artist Tina Turnbow for Tarte Cosmetics) are all Rabe needed to punctuate the look. Though the porcelain-skinned actress may not have nabbed her Tony in the end, she sure gets our vote for the night's best dressed!
