The Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex have many things in common, and one is the possession of a glowing, clear complexion.

Unlike celebrities who may share their skin secrets in interviews and on Instagram, the chances of royalty doing so are slim-to-none not only because they rarely talk to journalists, but because as royal etiquette dictates, endorsing brands is a no-go. Frankly, the secrecy makes the reality even more alluring.

One product we hear that they both go to bed with is Beuti Skincare Beauty Sleep Elixir, a 100 percent natural face oil.

The founder of Beuti (which is launching into Harvey Nichols next month), Leila Aalam, tells Bazaar: "Our source at the palace confirms that they gave Kate the Beauty Sleep Elixir, which is regularly replenished on her dressing table. It was then reported that Kate was giving product to Meghan to use too, and now they both receive regular supplies."

The organic elixir is a blend of 14 plant oils, including those from camellia, pomegranate and chia seeds which possess antioxidant properties (beneficial for preventing signs of aging) and are known to hydrate and soften the skin. There’s no synthetic fragrance, but a relaxing scent courtesy of essential oils (which is not to everyone’s taste when used in facial skincare, though clearly it is to Kate and Meghan's), and it’s free from parabens, sulphates and silicones.

It not only has the royal seal of approval; other famous fans include Emma Watson and Rita Ora, we hear. At £47 it’s hardly a steal, but neither will it break the bank, making it worth a try if you favor a nourishing oil at night time – and want to wake with a duchess-worthy glow.
