I'm a serial lipstick dater. So many lip products slide onto my desk. Some I double-tap and have all the heart eyes for. Others I ghost and leave on seen. This is #BigLipstickEnergy, an honest breakdown of how I feel about the latest lip launches. Read on for the three lipstick flings I'm keeping in rotation for now. Next week, I'll have a new roster.

This Balm-Gloss Hybrid
Lip Glow Oil in Coral
Dior nordstrom.com

What if a lip balm and a lip gloss had a baby? It'd be a lip oil! This soft-as-a-baby's-bottom, too-good-to-be-true texture hugs your lips with a hydrating cherry oil that smells as delightful as it feels. Fun fact: It uses color reviver technology to morph into a custom shade that matches your natural lip color.

I'd never thought I'd say this, but lip balms have been doing your girl wrong lately. No matter which balm I wear, my lips have been cracking like crazy. Leave it to Dior to dream up the ultimate fix in this cherry oil that leaves my lips protected with ample moisture that lasts. This coral color gives my lips a sun-kissed effect with a reflective shine.

This Moody Hue
Rouge à Lèvres Mat Matte Lipstick in 703 Toni Purple
Gucci sephora.com

If you're already a fan of Gucci Beauty's line of lipsticks, you'll obsess (like me) over these new matte textures available in the same drool-inducing colors. Each shade is made with a potent amount of pigments, resulting in a vivid burst of color achievable in one swipe.

My reasoning for loving matte lipsticks is quite embarrassing, but true, nonetheless: I'm a lazy beauty girl. I like to apply my lipstick and leave it alone in hopes that I'll look like a decent human for the rest of the day. Because I'm living my truth, I'm loyal to comfortable matte textures that ride-or-die with me all day, like this gem. It's $42 well spent. What I love most about this line is the unexpected shade range. When I feel like letting my inner-Goth shine, this moody dark purple is what I reach for.

bareMinerals Mineralist Hydra-Smoothing Lipstick in Presence
bareMinerals ulta.com

Minerals! They're good for you! BareMinerals knows that, which is why they formulated this vegan lipstick packed with healthy stuff like cold-pressed fruit oil, acai, and prickly pear. It goes on like a silky veil of moisture so you won't ever have to worry about winter lips (a.k.a. dry lips).

Before "clean beauty" was even a thing there was bareMinerals. I've always trusted the brand, ingredient-wise, and was happy to discover they were continuing to feed my lipstick obsession with these new launches. This neutral tone is chill enough to wear to work and on a date, and effective enough to keep my lips moisturized. The subtle sheen is a nice finishing touch.
