While much of Hollywood is condemning Harvey Weinstein following reports of sexual misconduct in The New York Times and The New Yorker, actress Lindsay Lohan has come to his defense.
In a series of videos on Instagram stories, Lohan said, "I don't think it's right what's going on."
She also added, "I think Georgina [Chapman] needs to take a stand and be there for her husband. He's never harmed me or did anything [wrong] to me—we've done several movies together. So I think everyone needs to stop. I think it's wrong. So stand up."
The videos have reportedly since been deleted. Lindsay's defense of Weinstein is sure to elicit shock, as again, many of her fellow actors (including Jennifer Lawrence, George Clooney, and Angelina Jolie) are reacting with disgust to the allegations against him.
