Ed Westwick has been accused of rape by actress Kristina Cohen. The Gossip Girl actor denied the allegation yesterday and claimed that he does not know Cohen, who stated that he sexually assaulted her in February 2014. But the LAPD confirmed to that they're investigating the case and have identified Westwick as a suspect.

Cohen alleged in a detailed Facebook (opens in new tab) post yesterday that her encounter with Westwick took place at his home, during "a dark time in [her] life." Cohen stated that a man she was dating at the time, a producer, brought her to Westwick's house, where he at one point suggested "we should all fuck." Per Cohen's account, she wanted to leave, but was instead persuaded to take a nap in the guest bedroom, where she allegedly awoke to find Westwick on top of her. She alleges that she told Westwick to stop and fought him, "but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to fuck me. I was paralyzed, terrified. I couldn’t speak, I could no longer move. He held me down and raped me."

Westwick responded yesterday with an Instagram post stating that he does not know Cohen, and has never committed rape.
