Everyone Is Talking About This New Christmas Movie from Netflix

Better add this to your watch list.

Hallmark isn't the only place to get your holiday movie fix this year. Both the Lifetime channel and Netflix are celebrating the season with their very own original Christmas movies featuring romance, over-the-top plot lines, and a whole lot of Christmas cheer.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Netflix premiered its very first holiday romance, A Christmas Prince. And following news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal engagement, it couldn't have come at a more perfect time. Hallmark Christmas movie fanatics are loving it:

The movie follows a young journalist (Rose McIver) who goes undercover and travels abroad to write a story covering the life of a handsome and single prince (Ben Lamb) with a playboy reputation. Of course, the two have instant chemistry, but they face some obstacles along the way.

The arrival of A Christmas Prince comes just after the Hallmark network pulled most of their movies from Netflix after launching two new streaming services, "Hallmark Everywhere" and "Hallmark Movies Now," according to What's on Netflix. But don't worry, the Christmas fun will continue with the arrival of even more holiday movies on Hallmark and plenty of Christmas classics available to stream on Netflix.
