While accepting her Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year, Miranda Lambert made a blink-and-you'll-miss-it mention of her ex-husband Blake Shelton, who was sitting in the front row with his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani.
"Thank you guys so much for sharing my broken heart with me," the singer said before handing the microphone off to her "good friends from Texas" Jack Ingram and Jon Randall, with whom she cowrote the award-winning "Tin Man."

Miranda Lambert’s Tin Man wins song of the year. That’s a big 🖕🏻 to Blake Shelton. And, I love it. #haha #ACMawardsApril 16, 2018
"'Tin Man,' I guess [was] going through a lot of times where I felt pretty empty—I understood a whole new meaning," Miranda told iHeartRadio. "I mean, how many times have we seen The Wizard of Oz? Something that everyone knows what the Tin Man represents; cold, and empty, and loneliness, and heartless. And it just opened my eyes to it even more, going through pain myself. [It was] sort of an epiphany."
This is Miranda's 30th career win, officially making her the most awarded artist in ACM history. As host Reba McEntire noted, Brooks & Dunn previously held the title with 29 awards. Later on in the night, she also won Female Vocalist of the Year, bringing her tally up to 31.
The country star may have more experiences to turn into art: She and boyfriend Anderson East reportedly just broke up.
