That's a body that looks like it could belong to a superhero―and it almost did. Last night on Conan the actor revealed he did a screen test for Captain America, the character now played by Chris Evans. The self-proclaimed Marvel fan said it was a "big deal" and even got to wear the famous suit and shoot on a set. The one thing that deterred him? Seeing Chris Hemsworth a.k.a. Thor's body.
He explains, "I was putting on the suit like, 'this is so amazing!' and I got right to my waist. I was still shirtless, feeling pretty good about myself–wasn't 13 Hours yet–but all of a sudden Chris Hemsworth walked by as Thor and was like 'Hey mate!' and I'm like...'I'm good. This is stupid. It's okay. I'm not Captain America. It's fine.'" Watch him tell the story (and briefly attempt an Australian accent) below:
