During Sunday night's big premiere of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's E! reality show, Rob & Chyna, the couple made a big announcement. According to E! Online, cameras followed them to the doctor's office where they learned their baby's sex.
And...it's a girl! Chyna seemed excited about the news, but Kardashian was visibly disappointed.
"I'm pretty nervous. I'm excited," Rob said before the big reveal. "I really want a boy."
In spite of his initial disappointment, Kardashian said in a confessional segment that he was actually thrilled to be having a daughter.
"It's an emotional moment. Me wanting to have a boy, it definitely stems from my dad but I'm sure I'll have the same relationship that I had with my father with my daughter," he explained. "I'm just happy that the baby's healthy and I'm gonna be super happy with a girl."
The most important thing is that the baby is totally healthy. "That's a nice, normal heartbeat. It's regular and there's no problems with the beat of the baby's heart," the doctor assured the happy couple.
But the news that Kardashian is having a daughter also raises another very important question, one that a fan was quick to ask during a Facebook Live Chat in August, before the baby's sex was revealed: Will he keep with tradition and give his daughter a K name?
On that point, Rob and Chyna totally agree: "Probably not," they both said.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
