Blue Ivy would be forgiven if she were a little bit jealous of her brand-new twin siblings, but Tina Knowles has just confirmed that she is in fact is a "very proud" big sis.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed Sir Carter and Rumi on June 13, with Bey recently sharing the first photo their latest arrivals (opens in new tab) in a snap reminiscent of Botticelli's classical Venus rising out of the ocean.
And now Beyoncé's mom Tina has spoken about how the family are adapting to life with their latest additions, telling Entertainment Tonight (opens in new tab): "We're very excited! It's a wonderful experience."
On five-year-old Blue Ivy, she went on: "She's very proud and very excited. She's a good big sister, she really is."
Tina's husband Richard Lawson added: "She cares for them a lot."
She added that fans will have to wait to hear from Beyoncé and Jay-Z about the significance of their children's unique names (opens in new tab), although she did share a poem by 13th century poet Rumi on Instagram over the weekend.

Tina also couldn't resist joking to E! Online (opens in new tab): "Oh, the kids are wonderful, but the best thing is that you can give them back."
Beyoncé and Jay-Z appeared to enjoy their first night out together (opens in new tab) since the birth of their twins, with Beyoncé sharing a picture of her outfit in Instagram.
She also posted a snap of herself hugging her husband. The couple were attending a Roc Nation event celebrating artist Vic Mensa in Los Angeles.
