Literally nothing gets past eagle-eyed, super sleuth Keeping Up With The Kardashian fans, so it's no surprise that the Kardashian-West Christmas card came under a lot of scrutiny within seconds of it being released last Friday. On first look, it looks perfectly sweet and normal: Kanye is dressed in a white outfit, while Kim, North, Saint, Chi and Psalm are all matching in grey loungewear as they sit together on a staircase in their home.
However, on closer inspection, fans noticed that something looked a little off—particularly how North is positioned in the photo.
"Who photoshopped North in? The lighting looks ... different," one fan commented, while another shared, "Y'all really need to get a better editor. The photoshopping is always a mess."
Well, the eagle-eyed super sleuths were absolutely right to think something didn't look right as North was Photoshopped into the photo. Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, Kim admitted the card had been edited. "It was a time thing and it was hard to wrangle everyone together, so I said, I'll just do my own family," she shared.
"It was so much anxiety with the four kids. North was having a day and I said, 'Fine we'll do it without you,' but then she said she just wanted to shoot with me. So I said, 'Fine, we'll just Photoshop her in'. So that's not actually her in the picture. The anxiety I went thought to get that picture. There's always one."
Personally, we're still holding out hope for a big Kardashian Christmas card this year— especially as they waited until Christmas Eve to drop one last year...
