Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk Still Have a "Strong Bond"
Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk have worked together to build their relationship as co-parents post-breakup. E! got an extensive update from a source on how that's going.

In June 2019, People (opens in new tab)confirmed (opens in new tab) that Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk had broken up after four years of quietly dating (opens in new tab). The two share a daughter together, two-year-old Lea de Seine, and over the last nine months, the exes have worked together to build their relationship as co-parents. E! (opens in new tab) got an extensive update from a source on how that's going.
The bond between them is still "strong," the source explained, even if it's platonic now. "They are working out how to be single parents and co-parent their daughter together," that source said. "They both have been working and traveling a lot so there is always scheduling to figure out. They have a good system in place for Lea and they take turns with her. They also come together as a family and do things when they can. They communicate a lot and are good friends."
Lea is their motivation to keep things civil and amicable between them. "They both love their daughter more than anything and they come together for her," the source continued. "They are getting along well and everything is very positive. It's still a transition period and they are trying to figure out how it's going to work going forward, but they are in a good place."
Shayk has spoken a little about her breakup with Cooper, saying she was lucky to have experienced that relationship. “I think in all good relationships you bring your best and your worst—it’s just the nature of a human being,” she told British Vogue (opens in new tab) in an interview published at the end of this January. “Two great people don’t have to make a good couple.”
“I think we’ve been very lucky to experience what we had with each other,” she added. “Life without B is new ground.”
