- Amanda Bynes looks unrecognizable in her new Instagram photo.
- Amanda is on social media again with a new handle, @matteblackonlinestore.
Amanda Bynes is back... at least for now. She made her return to Instagram with a surprising new handle (and an even more surprising new pic!), seemingly announcing her return to social media. She posted a photo of her looking unrecognizable in ripped jeans, a flannel, a septum piecing, and jet-black hair. Her new handle is @matteblackonlinestore, which is interesting. Maybe she's starting an online shop?
The photo shows her standing in front of a bare wall with a slight smile on her face. She posted in yesterday and already has almost 25,000 likes (oh, to be famous...). But, she only follows 22 people. Most are fellow celebs like Dr. Dre, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, among others. The Drake follow is interesting because of her bizarre tweets about him, several years ago.
What's also interesting is that she made it so people can't comment on her pic, most likely to avoid reading reactions to her sudden return. Of course, that didn't stop fans from tweeting their thoughts about Amanda's new look.
I’m always praying for an Amanda Bynes comeback but I of course want her to be as healthy as she can !October 2, 2020
She may not have or be on social media much but I just wanna make it known how much joy it brings me seeing New pics of Amanda Bynes and knowing she’s still on this earth despite her struggles pic.twitter.com/eUdhKkdLAoOctober 3, 2020

In May, Amanda revealed that she was in treatment for her social anxiety. "Spent the last 2 months in treatment," she shared on Instagram. "Worked on coping skills to help with my social anxiety that caused me to drop out of school months ago. Back on track and doing well!" She also announced earlier this year that she's engaged to her boyfriend Paul Michael (they broke up for a short amount of time but have since reunited).
We're so happy Amanda is doing well and hope that she's back for good!
