- Serena Williams took her followers inside her daughter Olympia's first tennis lesson.
- The tennis pro Instagrammed the entire thing, which was truly the cutest. 😭
Serena "THE GOAT" Williams is undeniably one of the best athletes of all time, but she wants her 3-year-old daughter Olympia to learn how to tear up the court from other pros too. And since Serena's like rich rich, she's having someone else teach Olympia how to play her sport...but masterfully failed to mention to the instructor that Olympia is her daughter.
On Instagram, Serena took fans behind the scenes of Olympia's first official tennis lesson, and it was all kinds of cute. "You guys, I signed Olympia up for tennis lessons. And don't even start with me because I'm not giving her tennis lessons, I signed her up for some, but the lady has no idea that it's my daughter so we'll see how that goes," Serena said. "I'm not a pushy mom, but I know how I like techniques so I'm gonna make sure she's good and teaching them some techniques."
Before the lesson, Serena and Olympia watched some visual aides—tennis tournaments, of course—to get in the training mood. Serena even put her girl in this suuuper cute outfit:
Be prepared to shed at least one tear at how precious Serena's full Instagram Story is, too:

Once upon a time, Serena said that she didn't want to get Olympia into tennis for a very understandable reason" "I would hate her to have to deal with comparisons or expectations," she told Vogue in 2018. "It’s so much work, and I’ve given up so much. I don’t regret it, but it’s like Sliding Doors: Go through a different door and lead a different life. I’d like her to have a normal life. I didn’t have that."

Later that same year, Serena also said she was hesitant for Olympia to get into tennis because she doesn't want her to "have pressure from what I did, you guys [the media] talking about, 'Are you going to be able to do as good as your mom?' I don’t want her to have that," she told USA Today.
All great points, which also help shed light on why Serena's giving Olympia other teachers. Glad Serena changed her mind about those tennis lessons though, because this is the type of content we like to see!
