Jenny Slate and Chris Evans just made their first public appearance at the premiere of The Secret Life of Pets (edit note: amazing), and they finally confirmed their relationship. Nah, they didn't pose for official photos, but look! Someone managed to snap this gem:

If that's not sweet enough, ET was on hand to get footage of Chris saying hi to Jenny before her interview rounds, and it's just too cute. The actress seems happy to spill on her relationship in the below video, saying: "We didn't know each other growing up, but we grew up about half an hour away from each other. We've been friends for a while, and, yeah."
Note: Jenny also said, "it's kind feels like I got my dream 7th grade boyfriend," which is clearly the most accurate way to describe dating Chris Evans ever.
