To quote our favorite Titanic GIF, it's been 84 years since Outlander was lighting up our collective lives with its Scottish sexual tension. Basically, we need Claire and Jamie's bodice-ripping love, and we need it, like, yesterday.
However, the droughtlader will continue just a *little* bit longer, because Starz just revealed that instead of coming back for its anticipated Spring slot, Outlander won't make its way back into our lives until September. SEPTEMBER.
The show's third season will consist of 13 episodes based on author Diana Gabaldon's Voyager, and will pick up with Claire in 1948, and Jamie in 18th century Scotland. To quote Starz' extremely swoon-inducing press release, "Separated by continents and centuries, Claire and Jamie must find their way back to each other. As always, adversity, mystery, and adventure await them on the path to reunion. And the question remains: When they find each other, will they be the same people who parted at the standing stones, all those years ago?"
Outlander doesn't have a firm premiere date yet, but go ahead and block out all of September just in case.
