Kate Middleton, and the entire royal family in general, are usually quite private about their lives—but for some inexplicable reason the Duchess was in the mood to spill tea during a recent interview about tennis. Apparently the sport just brings it out in her, ya know?
While chatting to the BBC for a documentary, Kate revealed some of her family's more embarassing tennis-themed secrets—though we should warn you that what's embarassing for the Middletons is like a normal day for the rest of us.
"Roger [Federer] is my mother's heartthrob," Kate said. "I don't think she will mind me saying that! I think he probably knows that too."
She also told the story of the time her dad confused his tennis players, causing her to cringe: "My father is not going to appreciate this but we were walking past Tim Henman and had just seen Sampras play. My dad said 'Hi Pete.' I was mortified."
Story-time with Kate Middleton is truly the best. Clearly she needs to take part in more tennis documentaries.
