Exactly What the Doctor Ordered: Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara's Hilarious 'Hot Pursuit' Trailer

Earlier this awards season, Sofia Vergara kind of bombed one of Reese Witherspoon's interviews to talk about explosions and car chases and stripping down to their underwear together. At the time, we were like, "OK, there, celebrities," but now we get it—it's a movie, not a slumber party gone awry, and it looks like such a good time.

In Hot Pursuit, Witherspoon's Officer Cooper is tasked with escorting Vergara, a drug dealer's widow, to Dallas to testify against a kingpin. Naturally, they encounter obstacles such as hit men, dirty cops, and Jim Gaffigan in a hilarious news-broadcast bit.

Here's the trailer, which is exactly the sort of no-thinking-required treat a Friday calls for.
