Paris Geller Is Returning to 'Gilmore Girls' Because Everything Is Right with the World
Please assume this position: 🙌

If Melissa McCarthy's twitter feed has taught us anything, it's that the Gilmore Girls revival giveth, and the Gilmore Girls revival taketh away.
Ever since McCarthy was rejected from Stars Hollow (opens in new tab), we've been living in a state of fear that other major characters might not return. Like, what about Dean, guys? What about his middle-parted hair? Haha, just kidding, no one cares about Dean—but we do care about Paris Geller.
"I start on Tuesday, which I really feel like bodes well that I get to start on a Tuesday being that we used to be on a Tuesday," Liza Weil recently confirmed (opens in new tab). "Tuesday is my first day and I'm nervous!"
Liza—who will be in just two of the four Netflix episodes—says "it's very emotional" to read the scripts: "It's like a really magical perfect time machine. I'm very happy to be a part of it. It was like I didn't realize how much I missed her. It was nice to sort of see an old friend."
Please feel free to take a moment to happy-weep and call your mom. Just remember:
