Now Your Kitchen Can Wear Dolce & Gabbana

Following their buzzy collaboration on high-fashion refrigerators (opens in new tab) last Spring, D&G and Italian home appliance company SMEG are teaming up again on a line of chic kitchen appliances. Coming in October, the "Sicily Is My Love" collection includes toasters, citrus juicers, coffee machines, kettles, blenders, stand mixers, and slow juicers.

Each product pays homage to Southern Italy and features designs inspired by Sicilian folklore. Symbolic motifs include Mount Etna, ornamental friezes, decorative acanthus leaves, lemons, prickly pears, and bright red cherries. (Told you fruit was so in (opens in new tab).) There are also floral patterns that call to mind D&G's runway designs.

There's no word yet on prices, but considering the refrigerators went for $34,000 can bet this will be super $$$.

But just look at this gorgeous stand mixer!!

Worth it?!
