Don't board the plane without packing these items first.

In a few weeks, I'll be heading out on a weekend beach getaway to Montauk, and I’ve shamelessly spent the last several days daydreaming about lounging on the beach with my favorite book, floating on the ocean and munching on lots of lobster rolls at the local seafood shack. In anticipation of my trip, I'm stocking up on some late summer vacation essentials.

On a mission to round out my travel capsule wardrobe, I’ve turned to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024, the retailer’s largest markdown event of the entire year. From now until Sunday, August 4, you can score big on tons of products across nearly all categories. Luckily for me (and for you, too), Nordstrom’s sale is packed with a ton of vacation-worthy clothes and accessories.

While perusing thousands of items on Nordstrom’s sale page, I discovered countless vacation essentials, including a lightweight button-down shirt for a casual day of roaming around, a gauzy summer dress for an evening dinner, and a sturdy travel purse that’s large enough to fit a range of on-the-go necessities. The retailer also has a stunning collection of on-sale shoes that you'll want to add to your packing list.

I’ve pared my wishlist to an edit of the best 34 sale pieces that I'm adding to my cart and suitcase. If you see something you like, act quickly. These items usually sell out within hours, so you’ll want to add them to your shopping cart ASAP.
