Some of you have written in about your insecurities regarding the pleasure that your partners may or may not be receiving. The truth is, is doesn’t matter if you’ve had lots of sexual experience or few experiences. The amazing thing about sex is that with a little communication between partners, there is always an opportunity for sex to be pleasurable. Sexually speaking, it is impossible for us to be mind readers. The only way we will know if our partners are feeling pleasure is if we check in them and ask them how they would like to be touched. We can even ask them to show us what they like. Ideally, in a healthy relationship you can talk to your partner about some of your insecurities. Chances are he or she is enjoying him/herself. But if you aren’t sure and need some reassurance, just ask.
