Emma Stone will star in Letters From Rosemary Kennedy, a biopic about President John F. Kennedy's younger sister, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Rosemary was subjected to a disastrous secret lobotomy at her father's request when she was 23 years old. The procedure left her unable to care for herself, according to People.
Rosemary was kept away from the public eye, spending decades at an institution in Wisconsin, where she never saw her siblings, until she died in 2005.
The film will reportedly focus on the life and final days of Rosemary. No word yet on additional casting.
