In a sobering new video for UNICEF, David Beckham's tattoos highlight the urgent need to end violence against children around the world.

"Violence against children marks them forever. It's wrong—end it," demands Beckham.

Raising awareness of the permanent mark abuse leaves on children, UNICEF elaborates, "David's own tattoos were marks chosen to represent happy or important memories. Millions of children bear marks of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse that they have not chosen."

This isn't the only charitable cause Beckham has helped to support. He recently shared a video of himself doing push-ups in honor of the 22 service personnel who die by suicide every day while suffering from PTSD after returning from deployment.

Supporting the veterans' mental health charity Combat Stress in the UK, Beckham said, "I've been to Afghanistan. I've seen the courage of our troops, and if there's anything I can do to raise awareness to the situation, I can."
