It’s no secret that tiny tattoos and face tattoos are becoming more and more popular, and it looks like Amanda Bynes has gotten in on the trend. Last night, Amanda took to Instagram to post her new look: A new tattoo, a black outline of a heart that sits right in the middle of her cheek. She was also rocking a septum piercing, but she’s had that for a while.
Bynes didn’t write anything in the caption, other than an alien emoji, so it looks like we’ll have to wait for the backstory. Of course, this could also just be a temporary tattoo—but either way, she seems happy with the results.
In November 2018, Amanda told Paper magazine that she wanted to become a fashion designer and get back into acting. But after earning her associate’s degree from FIDM in June, Amanda reportedly dropped out of college before earning her bachelor’s degree in fashion.
Of her harrowing public breakdown, she explained to Paper: "Those days of experimenting [with substances] are long over. I'm not sad about it and I don't miss it because I really feel ashamed of how those substances made me act. When I was off of them, I was completely back to normal and immediately realized what I had done—it was like an alien had literally invaded my body. That is such a strange feeling."
According to Entertainment Tonight, Amanda recently checked out of a sober living facility and moved in with her parents while she looks for a home in Los Angeles. It’s not clear if she still plans on working toward being a designer or acting again.
