Update, 1/8: This may be one of Meghan's last public appearances for a while. You can read the whole statement here.
Original post: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are officially back in England and back at work after taking a month and a half off. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex held hands as they arrived at at London's Canada House Tuesday, having spent several weeks in Vancouver, Canada over the holidays. Meghan glowed in a camel coat by Reiss, a brown turtleneck, Jimmy Choo velvet pumps, and a slip skirt, while Harry wore a suit.
The two came directly from their private visit at the Hubb Community Kitchen. According to royal reporters, Meghan had wanted to "check" on the women there, who she created the Together cookbook with, to see how they're doing.
They were affectionate, holding hands while they entered Canada House.
The duo's appearance was announced yesterday, with the two set to meet High Commissioner Janice Charette and staff "to thank them for the warm Canadian hospitality and support" during their trip, according to Entertainment Tonight. They will also see the Canada Gallery and view a special exhibition by Indigenous Canadian artist Skawennati.

Meghan and Harry's spokesperson confirmed the two were vacationing in Canada right before Christmas. The spokesperson said, "As has been reported, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are spending private time in Canada. The decision to base themselves in Canada reflects the importance of this Commonwealth country to them both...The Duke of Sussex has been a frequent visitor to Canada over many years, and it was also home to The Duchess for seven years before she became a member of the Royal Family. They are enjoying sharing the warmth of the Canadian people and the beauty of the landscape with their young son."
The couple was seen in Vancouver on New Year's Day, where Meghan helped a couple struggling to take a photo while on a hike. It was a rare public sighting of Meghan and Harry, who have been out of the spotlight since November.
