Confusion is intrinsic to matters of the heart — there's just no way around it.
Reminding us of this in sultry fashion is British songbird Jessie Ware on 'Kind Of..Sometimes…Maybe,' the latest track off her much-anticipated second album Tough Love. It's the sexiest offering we've heard from Ware thus far, not least because it was co-written and co-produced by our favorite amorous crooner Miguel along with duo BenZel, who co-produced the album.
When Ware introduced the number on Twitter, she instructed followers to "Enjoy & have a whiskey," which is exactly what we're doing (okay, the latter comes later) as we take in the the slow jam with it's smooth, electronic-tinged R&B instrumentals, not-so-subtle whispers, and arousing lyrics: "Do I want you at all? Okay, I hate to admit…kind of…sometimes…maybe."
We knew it was going to be steamy prior to our first listen — with Miguel it just comes with the territory — but here we are sitting at our desks all flushed in the cheeks. Taken it all in, below:
